Man charged with threatening San Mateo County judge after guns were stripped from him

SAN MATEO COUNTY — A Belmont man was formally charged Wednesday on two felony counts for making email threats against a San Mateo County judge in May, according to the county’s District Attorney’s Office.Edward Warren Day, 67, allegedly made those threats in the form of two emails. The first accused the judge of “cheating the system,” according to the DA’s Office, and Day said he was committed to “getting” the judge. (BCN) -- San Francisco firefighters rescued a man trapped under a collapsed dock near Pier 90 early Friday morning, according to fire officials. Video posted by the San Francisco Fire Department on social media showed a rescuer had to swim toward the man, who could be seen clinging to a beam. $350K of stolen goods recovered in Oakland, Sacramento County fencing operation The collapsed dock was near the area of Amador Street, fire officials said. Palisades Tahoe employee dies in snowmobile crash

(FOX40.COM) -- An employee of Palisades Tahoe was pronounced dead on Thursday morning due to a snowmobile crash, according to California Highway Patrol Truckee. The 25-year-old man was last seen by a fellow employee at 5 a.m. and was discovered at 6:30 a.m. near the crash site.
